Happy Holidays

WELL I'm back from my holidays, suitably tanned and already I feel like I need another holiday.

I went to a mainland Greek resort called Hanioti in Halkidiki and very nice it was too. And yes, in case your wondering, I did buy shoes - two pairs in fact.

It was on one of my wanders that I came across this fabulous shoe shop next to a leather-seated lounge bar.

At that time the shop was closed so that night, my husband and teenage son were happily deposited into the bar, drinking beer and playing Nintendo, respectively, as I slid off for a shoe shop gander.

I bought two pairs in the end.

One from the sale rack outside the shop - well you know me a bargains - and one from inside. The latter are pictured above and are a beautiful gold and bronze sandal by Migato which look fab with tanned legs.

Most of the shoes had a 20% off marked price, but as I got chatting to the female assistant, it turned out she was the niece of the woman who ran the hotel we were staying in, so she gave me an additional 10% off! Am I lucky or what?

I would have gone back and bought more but there's no way I would have fitted them into the suitcase!

NB: Bought Grazia magazine this week as it was advertising a bumper shoe section. I have to admit there weren't many I liked or to be honest could afford.
