It Must Be My Friendly Face

A pair of white sling-back heels similar to the one's I spotted.
I DON'T know what it is but whenever I go out to the shops people start talking to me.
It doesn't even matter what type of shop it is - supermarket, clothes shop, grocer's - customers always talk to me.

The other day I was out in Liverpool town centre and decided to pop into British Home Stores to look clothes and shoes in the sale.
I spotted a lovely pair of white open-toed sling-backs with a gold buckle on the front. They were very me.
Anyway, before I even got to check the sizes, a woman next to me said politely, " Those would really suit you," pointing to the same shoe I was admiring.
Unfortunately, there was only a size 3 and a size 5 on the stand. I still tried both of them on but the size 3 was too tight and the size 5 I would have been walking out of. It's strange how disappointed I felt but it's not as if I don't have enough pairs at home is it?
By now you've probably gathered what sort of shoes I like. I'm not really a trainer-wearing girl although I do possess one pair of trainers I bought years ago when I was attending an aerobics class.
I read an interesting article on the Daily Mail website the other day about a pair of shoes which can be changed into a pair of sandals in seconds.
Sounds a bit strange I know, but apparently a German company has come up with the idea of a trainer-like canvas shoe, which unzips to transform itself into a sandal.
I'm not convinced that it will catch on, but the owner of a London-based shoe shop, stocking the new invention, disagrees. "You get two pairs for the price of one," he says. At £59.99 a pair so you should!
